The Teacup

I know a lot of photographers that use the giant teacup to photograph babies. Finally, I have my very own giant teacup...much to the delight of my loving husband. (That is one more photo prop to store... ) Luckily, my daughter doesn't seem to mind sitting it. ;)

A friend come over with her sister and niece so that I could have another victim for my camera. This poor little thing had had a long day and an upset stomach and really was in no mood to sit in a teacup. But, luckily Aunt Angie was just silly enough to get her to quit crying for a few snaps. Angie, thanks for dragging the family out so that I could play. It was nice seeing you guys.

A cute baby, a cute outfit, a great location and the sweet light of sunset....how could you go wrong with that? I've been wanting to do this photo session for a while so you can imagine how happy I was to finally be able to do it last night. Thank you, Tricia, for allowing me to steal your adorable little guy. I apologize for the picture overload but I had a really hard time picking my favorites.

And here are a few more shots. High noon is not the ideal time for photos but with blue skies and clouds like these, I couldn't pass it up. ;)

Congrats Keith and Amber

Congratulations Keith and Amber. Your wedding was beautiful and a joy to photograph. Keith, even though you are technically my nephew, I love you like a brother. Amber, I really look forward to getting to know you better. I'm almost done with your photos. In the mean time, here is your sneak peek.

Little Miss A and family

I've known little Miss A since she was teeny tiny and she is growing up so fast. What a pleasure it was to photograph this little cutie! Thanks guys for braving the rain. I'm glad that the sun decided to peek out so we could get some great pics. Here are a few of my favorites.

Rick

Rick is a senior in college majoring in vocal performance. He is creating his debut album "Just as I am" which will hopefully be finished by July. We have had a couple of photo shoots together now to create images for multiple purposes...one of which being the CD cover. Here are some of my favorite shots so far...now to plan the layout for the CD...

Just my kids

As a photographer and a mom, I always have the camera close by. My son has had his picture taken enough to know to run when he sees me pick up the camera. My daughter, on the other hand, is not old enough to run yet. Thanks to Jen, from Born 2 Impress, I have a new hat for my little princess...what a great excuse to get out the camera! Thanks Jen!

My son did sit for a couple of pictures. He couldn't let his sister get all of the attention. ;)
