New Years Day 2015

It is a new year and a new start and what better way to begin the year, then to photograph a family that I have not seen in a while.  Thank you Rogers family for looking me up when you were in town for the holidays.

Last session of 2014

This little guy was born just before Christmas and just in time to round out my 2014.  Congratulations "G" family.  He's a doll!

Little brother

Most children and family photographers would tell you that one of the perks of the job is getting to watch families grow and change.  The idea that I could piece together all of the photographs I've taken and create a story (or at least some of the highlights) of someone's life is really one of the most rewarding things.  The little girl in this session was part of my baby plan.  I got to watch her grow from a tiny little baby into a proud big sister.  I haven't figured out how to slow down time yet but at least I can pause it for just a moment or two. ;)

With such a large family, it seems that life events happen so quickly.  I have yet another nephew that will be graduating from high school.  Of course I made him take way more photos than he wanted but I wouldn't be a good aunt if I didn't torment him just a little, right? ;)
