My most recent trip to my hometown to visit family included senior portraits of Anna. She requested pretty backgrounds and maybe some sunflowers if possible. Well...while the kids played at the park, I spotted some sunflowers across the street, in the alley....of the local funeral home. :) I called the funeral home to ask permission to shoot on their property and then I texted Anna to see if she would want to take some photos there. Surprisingly, she responded, "Yes that would be awesome." It really is true, a photographer can take portraits anywhere. :-)

Head shots
Such a quick and easy head shot session. With the tethered capture, we took and selected the final images in less than a half hour. Good luck on the job hunt!

Summer Portraits
I met the "W" family at our neighborhood pond and waterfall. So thankful that we have beautiful amenities here. It is always nice to take photos just a couple of minutes from home.

Spring has been hot in Kansas City. Thank you Bloom family for bearing with me and the 96 degree temperatures. I hope you guys had some great family time.

Baby Nora
I made a small trip the other day to photograph my newest great niece. She is sweet, snuggly and did not want to miss one second of her cuddle time. ;) Congrats Rick and Katie on the new addition. Your little family is adorable.
