Baby Bump

Sometimes when you meet people, you click and become instant friends.  I am very glad that this lovely couple found me on the internet and sent me a message about maternity photos.  We had so much fun that I completely lost all track of time and took so many photos that I have had a very hard time choosing my favorites.  Chanda and Alok, thank you for inviting me into your home, trusting me with your maternity portraits and for even feeding me a wonderful dinner. ;)  There are a lot of photos in your sneak preview and many more wonderful photos for you to see.  I hope that the rest of your pregnancy and delivery goes smoothly and I look forward to meeting your new addition soon.

Family Portraits

Most people get portraits of their children. A lot of people take family portraits every year. But it makes me smile when people make the effort to take a large family portrait with parents, siblings, spouses and all the kids.  Plan a day, get together with family and hire a photographer!

If feels so good to be back to work.  Thank you, Taylor and family for making the trip to Kansas City to see me.  I think this was the perfect way to end my maternity leave.  Senior sessions can be so much fun and this one was really easy-going and relaxed.  The weather was perfect, the park was quiet and it felt good to be behind the camera again.

Baby Yoda turns one

A year ago, the calmest and most easy-going baby joined our family.  He has been such a joy and is now one of the sweetest toddlers.

Baby #4

I just realized that I have been neglecting my blog but I do have a good reason.  Baby #4 joined our family in May.  I have been crazy busy with a newborn, a one year old and moving to a new house.  I did manage to get a few photos of the new addition.  Luckily, I have a wonderful lady who obliges my whims and custom makes some adorable crochet items for me.  Thank you Beanie Bird by Robin for the adorable outfits.
