Gunner

I love it when family gets a chance to visit and update their photos.  I have not made as many trips back home lately and little man was over due for some portraits.  It is nice to hang out at home and then run downstairs to snap a few photos and then go right back to hanging out and talking.  Thanks for swinging by...we'll have to do it again sometime.

Cousins

"Cousins are connected heart to heart.  Time and distance can't break them apart."  These little cuties live many miles apart but all came together this past weekend.  I think it is wonderful that they took a few minutes out of what I am sure was a very busy weekend to take a portrait of all the grandkids in one photo.  It makes me wish that I could get all of my nieces and nephews together for a family portrait.  With somewhere around 29 kids, that would be quite the photo!

Weekend sessions, part 2

Thanks again to all of my models who came out and posed for us.  The second half of the day was spent in downtown Parkville, working with both natural light and off-camera flash.  Tina and I had a great time and enjoyed spending time with each of you!

Weekend sessions, Part 1

My niece contacted me a few weeks ago, asking if she could job shadow me for school credit.  How could I say no to the opportunity to pass along my years of knowledge and possibly help another family member dive head first into the world of photography?  Thank you to all of the neighbors who volunteered to help by offering up their children/families to be models!  The first two sessions of the day were the indoor, studio sessions.  These little cuties made my day.  They were hilarious.  I won't share all of the funny out-takes but my favorite moment of the day was when I asked a little girl to sing me a song and she responded: "My mommy can sing it because I am busy crying..."  :)
