Lisa Fiatte...this is for you!

Lisa Fiatte is a 31-year-old mother of two young children, Josh and Lillian, and a cancer warrior. At the age of 29 she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She underwent 16 rounds of chemo, a double mastectomy and 33 rounds of radiation. At the age of 31, Lisa is battling cancer again. The cancer is in her bones and in her brain and she is currently undergoing treatment.

During one of my chats with Lisa this summer, she mentioned that she would like to take a portrait in front of the fountain on North Oak and Vivion in October when it is dyed pink for breast cancer awareness. Lisa has been very ill and in a lot of pain so she hasn't been able to take those portraits in front of the fountain. So, since Lisa has not been able to go to the fountain, we decided to bring the fountain to her. This morning, around 9 am, a group of us gathered at the pink fountain to let Lisa know that we are here to support her through her cancer battle. We will do anything that you need, Lisa. We'll even get up early in the morning on a day when the weather is so cold that we can't feel our fingers after 15 minutes.

I know that these pictures won't replace your own portrait in front of the fountain but when you need something to smile about, look at these photos and be reminded of all the crazy, fun-loving, pink wearing people that are here to support you.
